I most certainly could choose plenty of books, but the one that started my love affair was this one. When I was in first grade I checked this book out of the school library, and kept checking it out so often, that when the library was getting rid of older books that were worn, she found me and gave it to me.

The book is a tiny comic book by J.R. Goldberg called Squelch….I chose it because because its the smallest book I own also there are lots of penis drawings in it….that seemed appropriate….

I think Naked Reading Day is technically over, but I’ve got half the day off. Why not spend it reading naked? Reading Joie D’Amour, an erotic memoir my high school library gave to me. I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to donate books full of French porn to a high school. Or who at our high school thought that it would be a good idea to leave said porn around for delicate, impressionable teenagers. I thank them both from the bottom of my heart, though.

Already my full-frontal submission from last year is being reblogged around the tumblerverse and I thought it was enough to let me sit this year out due to my incredibly apathetic laziness of late. But then I remembered that I love attention, and plus what better way to help raise awareness about the book I’m reading in this photo than by shamelessly tying it in to the whole nude reading phenomenon. thenightdances: Today vs. a year ago. A year ago, I was at home going to school. Now, I am living in an apartment and I am hungover. I am not really in school. I am just floating. It’s crazy how much things change and yet they do not. The book? Ariel by Sylvia Plath. I’ve been reading this book quite a bit lately. I’ve been craving poetry. I can’t seem to find about 50% of my books.  I decided to change it to a more organic looking reading photo. Ignore my plastic glass in the background.
